Duration & Entry Requirements
Format: 1 full day classroom-based training (9:00am–5:00pm).

Assessment
Assessment is carried out during the course through:
- Practical assessment – continuous observation of hands-on skills.
- Multiple-choice exam – 15 questions, 25 minutes, pass mark 70% (11 correct answers).
- Additional oral questioning available if required.
Certification
- On successful completion, you’ll receive a Highfield Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (SCQF Level 6).
- Certificate valid for 3 years.
- Meets requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
- Annual refreshers recommended to maintain skills and confidence.
